Mrs. Evelyn Joyce Burk Jones or "Sister Joyce" as she is affectionately called was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Joyce has always been an active participant in the work of the Lord.  While growing up in Missouri, Joyce took pleasure in lending her powerful voice to the praise of the Lord as a lead singer for her local church choir(s) and the Missouri State Choir of the P.A.W (Pentecostal Assemblies of the World).   Her love of music and desire to praise the Lord led her to found one of the first "Black Gospel" High School choirs in St. Louis in the ‘70s.   In 1985, Joyce moved to Los Angeles with her husband of now thirty-nine (39) years, Pastor Reginald H. Jones, (UR Family Ministries).   Seeing that there was much opportunity for soul saving and Christian fellowship in the Los Angeles area, she and her husband founded a neighborhood food bank that provided families with food for the body as well as the soul.  She has always had a desire to minister to the "Total Man/Woman".

Joyce is the mother of three adult daughters and one teenage son. She currently serves as spiritual advisor to her church’s Music Ministry, Founder of UR Family’s Volunteer Department, and Church Program Administrator. She also founded UR Family's Interpretive Dance troop GRACE and coordinates the Church’s annual Family & Friends Day.   She has been obedient to the leading of the Lord and has organized the Covenant Women’s Christian Conference, a DESERT Assembly of God’s women geared towards strengthening, empowering, uplifting and healing God’s Woman.   An accomplished student and business professional, Sis. Joyce has received a Bachelor of Arts in Theology (Tyrannus University of Biblical Studies), is a certified Christian Counselor with the American Academy of Crisis Counseling (AAOCC) and a Senior Associate and Real Estate Agent for The Mili Realty Group, Inc.  Additionally, she is a Notary Public and a member of the National Notaries of America.  Sis. Joyce is truly a woman of God and one who works to help her community.
